You get Mark Rigg & The Big Rigg Band

Formed in 1992 by Mark Rigg, the group has toured with much success in the United States and Europe. In 1995, the band’s first CD “Blues Injection” was released, meeting with favorable reviews and respectable sales.

Important factors accounting for the band's success are its commitment to a strong original repertoire and the ability to relate honestly to an audience.

Leaving Detroit in the 1980’s, Mark took his Motown and Rock & Roll roots and moved to New Orleans to further his education in the roots of R&B. There he worked with pioneers Johnny Adams, Jean Knight and Earl King. He also wrote, produced and played lead guitar for the Shepherd Band, New Orleans premier Reggae band.

In New York City, Mark has worked with Kenny Aaronson, the David Roter Method, the Rumprollers and former member of Blue Oyster Cult, Albert Bouchard.
